Our Grand Reopening in Downtown Bellbrook
In June, we celebrated a major milestone: the grand reopening of Simply Decadent at our stunning new location in the heart of downtown Bellbrook. This move gave us the opportunity to spread our wings and better serve our customers with expanded space, improved amenities, and even more desserts to love.
Our new location has been buzzing with activity—from casual drop-ins for cupcakes to custom orders for weddings and other celebrations. Thank you for making our bakery feel like home from day one.
Honored as one of Dayton's Best Bakeries
We were thrilled and humbled to be named Best Cupcakes in Dayton by Dayton Magazine this year! This award means the world to us because it reflects the votes and love from you, our incredible community. It’s a testament to our hardworking team who pours heart and soul into every cake, cookie, and cupcake we create.
New Offerings That Dazzled
This year, we introduced several new products that quickly became crowd favorites, including:
Cheesecake Selections: From "Death by Chocolate" to white chocolate raspberry, pumpkin spice, and caramel apple, cheesecakes have been a big hit!
Edible Chocolate Candles: A quirky, fun, and delicious way to “light up” birthdays and celebrations.
Bell-Brookies: Our swirled cookie-and-brownie combo named in honor of our hometown.
From timeless classics to exciting innovations, Simply Decadent continues to find ways to delight your taste buds and elevate your celebrations.
Sweet Community Connections
Building connections with our community has always been at the heart of what we do. Some highlights from this year include:
Halloween Cookie Decorating Classes: Both kids and adults joined us for spooktacular fun, creating fun and delicious Halloween cookies.
Costumes for Cookies: Trick-or-treaters stopped by in costume to snag a free Halloween cookie, proving that even ghouls and goblins love a sweet treat.
Supporting Local Schools: Through sales of our holiday cookie kits, we donated a portion of proceeds to Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools, giving back to the community that supports us.
We also had the privilege of partnering with local businesses and organizations to create unique desserts for corporate events, weddings, and special celebrations.
The Most Wonderful (and Busy) Time of the Year
From Thanksgiving cakes to Christmas cookies, this holiday season was one of our busiest yet! With so many of you trusting us to bring sweetness to your celebrations, we baked countless desserts to fill tables, stockings, and bellies. Thank you for letting us be a part of your holidays—it’s an honor we don’t take lightly.
Looking Ahead: Resting, Recharging, and Preparing for 2025
As we wrap up this year, we’ll be taking a short break to recharge. Simply Decadent will be closed from December 25th through January 6th, reopening on January 7th. This time allows our team to rest and reflect on how we can make 2025 even sweeter for you.
We know January can be a slower month for celebrations, but if you’ve got a birthday, corporate event, or just want to treat yourself, we’re here to make it extra special. Plan ahead, and let’s kick off the year with delicious desserts!
