Return & Cancellation Policies

Return Policy

We want your experience with our desserts to be simply decadent. However, if you find yourself dissatisfied, here's how we handle refunds:

 

  • Due to the loving, handcrafted nature of our desserts, we may be unable to provide refunds or exchanges for custom orders.

  • Once you or a designated party has picked up an order and completed payment, it is considered "accepted."

  • We want you to love your desserts. While we make every effort to make them perfect, it is your responsibility to ensure details such as the design, spelling, etc., are correct during dessert pickup. Due to the nature of our products, refunds requested due to decorating style, writing, color shade, or general design will not be honored after this acceptance. In some instances, we may ask you to bring the dessert back in for design adjustments; but this may entail an additional charge, at our discretion.

  • All products are the responsibility of the customer once they leave our shop. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs to the desserts after they are picked up (i.e. during transport, set-up, or any time thereafter). We are happy to offer recommendations on how to best transport, store, and display your desserts; just ask. But keep in mind that cakes and other desserts are often fragile, and damages can happen if not handled properly – such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc. We only give refunds in accordance with the refund policies stated below.

  • We understand that cake flavor and texture are subjective. While most love our flavors, we acknowledge that individual preferences may vary. If anything goes amiss, reach out to us promptly. Your feedback is crucial, and we're here to help! If you aren’t satisfied with the dessert quality, kindly inform us of the issue within 48 hours. Please return the uneaten portion to the bakery within three business days of your purchase. Refunds and store credit are considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Simply Decadent.

  
Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change, and here's our stance on cancellations:
 
Simply Decadent coordinates baking, decorating, and delivery based on confirmed orders. Orders canceled less than 14 days before the pickup date may result in all or a portion of the total being refunded as store credit for a future purchase. The amount of potential store credit depends on the extent of work already completed on the canceled order.
 
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these matters. If you need to discuss a return or cancellation, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our goal is to make your Simply Decadent experience as enjoyable as possible.
